THERMOTEST (MALAYSIA) SDN BHD was established in 1990 by the Carbandy Group to provide high-quality contract heat-treatment services within Peninsular and East Malaysia.
Significant and ongoing investment from the parent company supported the rapid growth of THERMOTEST, enabling the company to secure several prestigious contracts and a substantial share of the market.
This rapid growth led to the formation of subsidiary companies across Southeast Asia — Indonesia, the Phillipines, Singapore, and later Australia. By 1994, THERMOTEST had become one of the largest specialist heat-treatment companies in Asia.
In 1999, THERMOTEST began implementing a strategy to expand its range of services, aiming to provide a comprehensive suite of high-quality engineering services and reduce the need for customers to appoint multiple contractors.
